Marty’s Baywatch

The rescue of curves! Marty indulging in a favourite fantasy of his. Rescuing the curved ones from the beach...
Marty's Mausoleum
Does the death of potential mean being robbed of a residence? While he was potential alive, Marty never had to think about a mausoleum or a place to reside in, after crossing the threshold of existence. But now that he was on the other side, should he seek technical assistance towards construction?

The monochromatic memoirs of time!
Marty's reminiscence:

Marty, the manifestation of my procrastination, was created on a rainy evening, many years back. Playing with some software, seeking inspiration. Somehow his quest for the big wave seemed to explain my situation perfectly! Marty was christened by a friend who said he reminded her of the old skeleton which hung in her bio-lab, in La Martinire School in Calcutta! Thus Marty.
I found Marty growing on me. He, I found out, was quite a nice fellow. Slightly lost. A product of missed opportunities. Perpetually caught between the conflict of unfulfilled promises to himself and the restrictive state of being rendered to a state of permanent observer! This has got him embroiled with a few situations and escapades. Caught in situations with inherent poignant.
Since then I decided to delve deeper into Marty’s quandary. Finding out what kind of situations could be derived from absolute loss of potential! Inspired by Rodin’s “The Thinker” and also my ruminative state, decided to explore the colour of Marty’s thoughts! Found them to be monochromatic...hit by the blues!
This illustration was inspired from a friend's correspondence who said that while Blue was the favourite colour it definitely was not the favourite mood! And here we have Marty mooning over his memories.
The Sentinel

This image done entirely in Bryce, has been inspired by a work of Alan H Okamoto. An illustrator I admire tremendously!
Sphere's Day out!

Is it magical or technological?
Is it microscopic or celestial?
Is it mythical or futuristic?
Is it symmetrical or asymmetric?
Is it a work of design or an act of whimsy?
Is it coming together or breaking apart?
Is it organic or inorganic?
Is it docile or is it wild?
Is it flying or is it swimming?
Is it a whole or just a sum of its part?
Is it realistic or illusionary?
Or is it…simply spheres, having a ball of a time, on their day out?
Created using Bryce! This time the effort was to model by using multi-replication only!
The image consists only of spheres (and those who’d like me to be politically correct, ellipsoids too, which are squashed, stretched and skewed spheres :-P ). Except the horn which is made of multi-replicated Torii. (Torus being a circle swept along an external axis while a sphere being a circle swept along its diameter, for those who’d like me to be geometrically correct! ;-)
It is said about the holographic view of the universe that each smallest constituent part of it carries an image of the complete universe in it, thus the decision to use reflective spheres, so that each reflects the complete image within itself. Thanx for viewing! Would love your inputs!
